Plastireysa's History

Founded in 1990 as a physical person under the name of Universal Recycling for its business activities. During this time, our work began with the recollection of recyclable materials within Reynosa's landfills collecting and recycling bottles of Pet and HDP (high density polyethylene).

In 1995, after observing the problem and the need for services offered to the factory industry, Universal Recycling changed its name to PLASTIREYSA (Plastics Recycled of Reynosa) at that time, we had only 3 fixed customers and 5 purchase - sale clients. This is how we started to offer our services to the factory industry as PLASTIREYSA.

In the year 2000, Plastireysa expanded its facilities to 2500 square meters due to the requirements of the factory industry and as a result of its success in the recycling industry. At this point, Plastireysa had grown to 7 fixed customers from the Factory industry and 8 purchase-sale clients.

I By the year 2008, PLASTIREYSA became a limited company with variable capital (Plastireysa SA de CV) with a list of 11 clients from the maquila industry and 8 purchase-sale clients.

In 2009 PLASTIREYSA SA DE CV expands its labor field to the neighboring city of Matamoros Tamaulipas, offering its services to that locality, thus expanding our labor force and its infrastructure, with 7500 squares meters of warehouses servicing the factory industry, and now we are offering our services to 7 fixed clients and 10 purchase-sale clients.

Currently (2012), PLASTIREYSA SA DE CV has 5 warehouses, 11 automated drive units, 40 closed boxes, 15 trailers, 14 forklifts, 100 employees and we have 30 fixed customers from the maquila industry and 15 purchase-sale clients .
